N96 Design began its journey in a small mountain village in Bavaria, nestled close to the German-Austrian border. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty and tranquility of this region, the foundations of simplicity and minimalism were deeply ingrained in my approach to design.
After my time in Germany, I moved to South Tyrol, Italy, where I was fortunate enough to meet and work with highly skilled carpenters and furniture makers. These craftsmen collaborated with internationally renowned architects on various projects, allowing me to learn and grow in an environment that valued precision, creativity, and high-quality workmanship. This experience significantly influenced my design philosophy, reinforcing my love for minimalism and simplicity in both furniture and architecture.
I believe that furniture pieces should reflect these values—they should be simple, minimalistic, and future-oriented, just like me. During the COVID lockdown, with more time on my hands, I began creating my first projects. This period marked the inception of the idea to create timeless furniture using waste materials, all without compromising on design and functionality.
Currently, I am residing in Melbourne, Australia, where I am studying for a Diploma of Business. This academic pursuit aims to enhance my knowledge of the business world, equipping me with the necessary skills to turn my passion into a sustainable enterprise.
At N96 Design, we are committed to crafting pieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing and functional but also environmentally responsible. Our journey is rooted in a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and a forward-thinking approach to sustainability. Join us as we continue to redefine furniture design, creating timeless pieces that tell a story of innovation, simplicity, and respect for our planet.
